| The Back Story |
| For over 30 years I've enjoyed a career in still photography, working on editorial, corporate, and advertising assignments, as well as personal projects. The recent addition of filmmaking to my toolbox has allowed me to explore my subjects more deeply. Curiosity about what makes people create art has fueled recent explorations in both mediums. I photograph digitally as well as with film, hablo español, and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. My documentary film, "Breaking Boundaries; the Art of Alex Masket" has been accepted in over two dozen film festivals to date. It has won a several awards including a CINE Goldern Eagle. We're among 5% of the population. We see possibilities in everything; have a knack for finding a better way and a tactful capacity to ignore the boring. Conformists are rare among us.
